Design System | HP U.S. Store Email
Foundations
The HP U.S. Store design system was built to bring consistency and efficiency to a high-volume, product-driven CRM email stream.
The brand’s visual ID had been established prior to my time with the company, and I worked within that framework to create a system focused on modularity, scalability, and brand alignment across email. It included:
Grid-based components for consistency across Figma mockups and responsive HTML renders
A simplified color framework, consistent with the VisID
Components that accommodated external product auto-population, a frequent need for the store
In Action
The system was built to meet the demands of a fast-paced eCommerce environment, where design fidelity and speed of execution were critical.
Templates were designed to work across automated, dynamic campaigns to support seamless integration between development and CRM ops. Design integrity held across templates, and typography and spacing systems ensured readability and consistency across screen sizes.
